NAKUNGOO TREE PLANTING PROJECT

Nakungoo Tree Planting Project LOGO
Nakungoo has launched his own reforestation program, the Nakungoo Tree Planting Project.
Through this program Nakungoo will fund and support the Eden Reforestation Project in Madagascar by planting one tree for each Nakungoo® product sold.
Together we can alleviate extreme poverty, prevent flooding, improve soil nutrients, stop erosion and restore animal habitats by also providing jobs to the local communities.

How does it work?

At the end of every month, Nakungoo will send the planting requests to the project in Madagascar according to the units sold. Once you register your product by scanning the QR Code inside the product's box, you will receive email updates on when your tree will be planted. You will have your very own tree planted in your name!

Where will trees be planted?

Madagascar is more than just an island from an animated movie. It’s a nation with over 200,000 species of plants and animals that don’t exist anywhere else in the world. But more than 90% of Madagascar’s original forests have been destroyed, displacing entire animal species and taking away the Malagasy’s ability to farm and live on the land.

Eden Reforestation Projects ("Eden" for short) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission committed to alleviating extreme poverty and restoring healthy forests in Haiti, Nepal, Madagascar, Mozambique, Indonesia, Kenya, Honduras, and Nicaragua by employing local villagers to plant over a million trees each month. The lives of Eden’s employees are transformed by having a fair and dependable income to support themselves and their children. They are sending their children to school, able to afford good food and medical care, being freed from debt, labor and sex slavery, and are experiencing sustainable farming and fishing as their land, villages and local economies are restored to health.

Nakungoo and its employees will also plant trees on their own financing more projects around the world. Together we can make the difference!
